I am professor for discrete geometry at Goethe-Universität Frankfurt. Before that, I was professor (W1) at Freie Universität Berlin. Before that I was a Miller Research Fellow at UC Berkeley. Before that I graduated from Technische Universität Berlin.

My research interests are mainly in the areas of discrete and convex (algebraic) geometry as well as geometric and algebraic combinatorics. I am a member of the program committee of the priority program Combinatorial Synergies (DFG SPP 2458). I am also program lead for its Dive into Research series.

My activities also include MATHS OPEN, Main Math Challenge, Die Frankfurter Mathematik, and conference and workshop organization.

Mattias Beck (SF State University) and I wrote a book on Combinatorial Reciprocity Theorems. Check it out!
