I am professor for discrete geometry at Goethe-Universität Frankfurt. Before that, I was professor (W1) at Freie Universität Berlin. Before that I was a Miller Research Fellow at UC Berkeley. Before that I graduated from Technische Universität Berlin.
My research interests are mainly in the areas of discrete and convex
(algebraic) geometry but I am also interested (and worked) in
topological combinatorics and combinatorial commutative algebra.

Until I implemented all requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) some parts of my webpage will be disabled.- Matthias Beck and I wrote a book on Combinatorial Reciprocity Theorems that was published in the Graduate Studies in Mathematics of the AMS. Check it out!
