Frankfurt's mathematicians call the white building in the background "Matheturm", but
this unofficial name is hardly known by non-mathematicians.
The Matheturm is located Robert-Mayer-Straße 10, 60325 Frankfurt.
To the right you see
another building which hosts more of the math department.
The building on the left accommodates the computer science department. Using
this map you can locate the Matheturm within
the campus site.
Besides some parts of the physics
department, some math research groups are located in the Matheturm.
There are also several rooms of the computer administration of
the University (Hochschulrechenzentrum). Particularly, there
is a workstation pool downstairs, which is accessible
via the entry Gräf-Straße 38; this entrance is shown in the picture.
